FLI-MAP History

Development of FLI-MAP began in 1992, with commercial operations commencing in 1995. FLI-MAP is allready 15 years a cost-effective alternative to traditional surveying and mapping methods that can quickly deliver extremely accurate 3D survey information for engineering and design purposes.

Since 1995 FLI-MAP has become one of the most trusted airborne survey systems offering high quality imagery and LiDAR services today to the transmission power line and pipe line operators and railway-, road- and water management authorities in both the public and private sectors

  • In Asia and Australia, FLI-MAP is operated by Fugro Spatial Solutions Pty.

The FLI-MAP system has been used successfully in more than 1000 projects on six continents covering more than 150,000 of survey kilometres both for typical corridor projects as well as for medium/wide area surveys by flying multiple parallel passes.
