Fugro awarded floodplain Lidar mapping project in Poland
The Head Office of Geodesy and Cartography (GUGiK) together with the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) have awarded Fugro a floodplain mapping project in Poland.
These Polish government departments will develop a protection system for extraordinary risks i.e. the effects of extreme weather events, pollution or civil disorder. The system will be a comprehensive, integrated information and warning system for government authorities and the public.
