The captured laser data, photo and video imagery and line scan data are an excellent basis for the production of detailed and accurate

Upon request additional client specific data can be extracted out of the captured data set.

Topographic Mapping  

Topographic Mapping
FLI-MAP can map corridors and areas in 2D or 3D to be delivered in any requested format. A brief overview of objects that are frequently extracted from FLI-MAP data are:

  • buildings;
  • sidewalks;
  • fences;
  • bridges;
  • lamp posts;
  • significant break lines;
  • railway tracks and railway electrification wires and poles;
  • power lines.
Alternatively, paper charts can be produced to client specifications.

Terrain Modelling
The following are typical products related to height models that are frequently produced from FLI-MAP data. The products can be delivered in any format requested by the customer, including ASCII, ESRI , DXF or Microstation.

  • Recorded heights of all recorded points;
  • recorded heights in ASCII format of all points on the ground (items like buildings and vegetation filtered out);
  • gridded height points with variable cell size;
  • gridded height points on the ground with variable cell size;
  • TIN Models;
  • contour lines.
Highway GIS Mapping
